FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Where exactly are you located? Inside the Independence Mall, on Route 202/Concord Pike, in Wilmington, DE. The massage studio is on the second floor, accessible only via stairs. The entrance to those stairs is just to the right of Takumi Restaurant, in the southeast corner of Independence Mall. Go up the stairs, and enter suite 60 on your left.
What about reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities? If you have a disability that prevents you from walking up a flight of stairs, email me and we’ll either arrange a visit at your home, place of business, doctor's office, etc. We’ll make it happen!
Do you take health insurance? No.
Do you take HSA (health savings account)? No.
How about workers compensation or personal injury cases? I’m happy to work with you on your path to a full recovery, but I do not deal with insurance, medical billing, or lawyers. Sorry.
How do you accept payment? Payment is accepted in full when you schedule your appointment online. Payment is securely accepted by credit card through Stripe. It’s always pay-in-advance of your appointment; I’m sorry, there are no partial payments accepted.
What’s the refund policy? You’ll receive credit to use on a future massage session if you cannot attend the massage session you scheduled. If for some reason I cannot work with you due to my own illness, then you’ll receive a full refund back to the card you used to pay for the original appointment.
What should I wear? For traditional massage, wear something comfortable that can be easily removed; I’ll ask you to undress (alone) to your level of comfort, in the privacy of the studio, and once you’re on the table, you’ll remain protected by comfy sheets and a nice, warm blanket. For Thai massage only, the work is done fully clothed, so please wear something loose and/or flexible.
Are walk-ins accepted? No, sorry.
Are you a “masseuse” or a “masseur”? Neither. I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist. “Massage therapist” is the correct term.
Where’s your phone number? My phone is both my cell and my business phone, so I’m quite protective of that number. If it’s easier for you to speak over the phone, please email me for my number and I’ll share it over email, and then we can arrange a mutually convenient time for a call. Thanks!
